(JustPatriots.com)- If you thought Obama’s “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period” lie was bad, Joe Biden is here to say “hold my beer.”
According to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Biden’s campaign vow to not raise taxes on anyone making less than $400K a year is an impossible vow to keep. Rising inflation and the accompanying rising costs on everything from energy to groceries means even those making less than $400K a year are going to be paying through the nose.
Appearing on “The Cats Roundtable” radio program on WABC on Sunday, McCarthy said “When the president talks about not raising taxes on people under $400,000, that’s a lie,. Every day you watch the inflation that he is creating. This is the Biden Tax.”
The economic news is grim. April’s jobs report was dismal. Only about a quarter of the expected one million jobs were created while unemployment ticked up to 6.1%.
This was bound to happen. When government subsidizes unemployment, it gets unemployment.
And the President’s solution? Rather than end the supplemental unemployment from the COVID relief package, Biden wants to throw more taxpayer money at the problem caused when they threw taxpayer money at the problem.
The V-shaped recovery Biden inherited from President Trump is flatlining. And a flatlined economy coupled with rising inflation hits everyone’s wallet.
The White House-driven spending spree only makes matters worse.
According to McCarthy, only a mere six percent of the so-called “infrastructure” package pushed by the White House is actually going to infrastructure. Instead, it is a stealth version of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal.
“Less than 3% of America have an electric car,” McCarthy said, “but they want the government to subsidize it. And what they will do is raise the utility costs, a tax on all Americans.”
There are more ways to tax Americans than income tax. And these stealth taxes – on energy, food, durable goods – these taxes will go up for everyone regardless of income.
Couple that with rising inflation, and no American – even those making less than $400K a year — will be spared.
