(JustPatriots.com)- Joe Biden’s campaign team has reportedly reversed course on their agreement to have the Democratic presidential nominee’s ears inspected as part of the conditions for holding the debate on Tuesday night. Reports suggest that the Biden campaign agreed to the conditions just days ago, which would involve both candidates having their ears checked to ensure that they are not being fed information by their campaign during the debate.
President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign had requested that a third party inspect the ears of both candidates to check for electronic devices ahead of the first debate hosted in Cleveland, Ohio.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 29, the Biden campaign reversed course and denied the request.
Ebony Bowden of the New York Post said on Twitter that “Joe Biden’s campaign agreed to an inspection looking for electronic earpieces at tonight’s debate several days ago but are now declining.”
Tim Murtaugh, the director of communications at the Trump campaign, confirmed her comments.

Reports also suggest that the Biden campaign requested that they take breaks every thirty minutes, despite the debate only being 90 minutes long. President Donald Trump’s campaign, however, rejected those requests on the basis that the president has no difficulty answering questions without a teleprompter for long periods of time.
President Donald Trump also requested for the second time over the weekend that the Democratic presidential nominee take a drug test before the debate, citing his “uneven” performances in the primary debates. The Biden campaign, however, dismissed the request.
Tim Murtaugh said that “Biden’s handlers have asked for multiple breaks during the debate, which President Trump doesn’t need, so we have rejected that request.”
“On top of the refusal to take a drug test, it seems pretty obvious that the Biden team is looking for any safety net they can find I the hours leading up to the debate,” he added. “With his 47 years as a failed Washington politician, how much help does Biden want?”
