American Airlines Employees Hit Back Over Policy Allowing Attendants To Wear Extremist BLM Pins

( American Airlines employees responded on Sunday to an announcement by the company that the wearing of Black Lives Matter pins will be permitted. The company announced that employees will be allowed to wear accessories demonstrating their support for the far-left, revolutionary Marxist organization that has prompted violent riots across the United States.

The airline defended the decision to allow employees to wear the pins as an effort to “find common ground,” but to some it’s really just a matter of not wanting to face the wrath of social justice warriors.

“Clearly we live in a time where it is so important to have a dialogue about this important issue of racism in our society and try to find common ground,” the company said in a statement. “American is truly committed to having an inclusive culture that is welcoming to all and a reflection of our country and world.”

Welcoming to all except…anyone who doesn’t approve of riots in the name of a far-left political agenda, right?

“This is why American is so committed to creating a more tolerant and diverse team,” they added, describing how they are working with their “office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” to address social justice in their workplace.

Note that their diversity office doesn’t refer to equality, but equity. That means they care more about the outcome and not opportunity, meaning they may advocate discriminatory policy to achieve the goal of equity. That’s the only way it can be achieved, after all.

Many employees are unhappy about the decision, however, and one spoke to the New York Post about the situation. A veteran woman flight attendant reached out to the outlet by email saying she takes “serious offense” to the policy.

“My husband is a LEO (Law Enforcement Officer), as was my deceased father and as far as I’m concerned ALL LIVES MATTER,” she said. “I am completely disgusted at the fact that we can’t show support for our GOD, our COUNTRY, our LEOs but when it comes to BLM organization (which is controversial in itself), American Airlines says that’s obviously different.”

Another flight attendant told Fox News that if American allows the wearing of BLM pins, then they should allow people to wear Trump pins too. But that’s not going to happen, is it?

Fox also reported that the company is planning on designing an entirely new pin that demonstrates their support for a “diverse and inclusive work environment.”

A male flight attendant also told the New York Post that allowing people to wear the pin at work could lead to people who choose not to wear it being “ostracized and labeled as racist.”

What do you think – does American really care about this, or are they just afraid of the left-wing mob?
