Actress Breaks Silence About Illicit Movie Scenes

Amanda Seyfried says she wishes she was naked much less in her career. She feels that she was “taken advantage of.”

Seyfried is the star of a new Apple TV+ drama, The Crowded Room. She is an Oscar-nominated performer and co-stars with Tom Holland in the upcoming June 9, 2023, premiere of the period psychological thriller.

The 37-year-old actress has appeared in Les Misérables, Mean Girls,  Mank, and Mamma Mia!

She has admitted to experiencing regrets in her career.  She said the regrets are choices and how she handled things at work. She is still working on finding her voice and standing firm in her convictions.

Seyfried feels she was taken advantage of and regrets letting people stay in her professional life longer than they should have.

As a teenager, Seyfried gained fame thanks to her role in the iconic comedy Mean Girls. She has been acting professionally for over 19 years and has already singled out one choice she deeply regrets.

Because of the live singing, she still has nightmares and wishes she could remake Les Misérables. She said she was “weak” then and has since tried to strengthen her voice.

She feels people with odd personalities and ulterior motives cause her a lot of pain, and it may be really frustrating for her professional life.

“I just wish I’d been naked less, too.”

In The Crowded Room, Seyfried portrays Rya Goodwin, an interrogator for Tom Holland’s damaged character, Danny Sullivan. The new drama, The Minds of Billy Milligan, stars Amanda Seyfried and a cast including Will Chase, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, and Seyfried’s real-life husband, Thomas Sadoski.
