Actor’s Final Moments Revealed By Wife

(JustPatriots.com)- After the suicide of former “Power Rangers” actor Jason David Frank in a Texas hotel room prompted a flurry of rumors and speculation online, his wife Tammie released a statement revealing what happened leading up to his death.

In a statement to People Magazine, Tammie Frank blasted the media for trying to turn her late husband’s suicide into a “tall tale.”

She revealed that since her husband’s suicide, she had been harassed online, adding that she wanted to set the record straight rather than watch her husband’s name being “slandered.”

According to Tammie, the couple, who had been trying to reconcile after she filed for divorce in August, had reserved rooms at the hotel for the weekend in hopes they could work things out.

While she admitted that Jason Frank had struggled with depression in the past, Tammie said she had “no idea” that her husband was thinking of ending his life that night.

Tammie revealed that her daughter Shayla, Jason’s stepdaughter, passed away suddenly last year and Jason was the one who found her. She said the experience “wrecked our family emotionally” causing her and Jason to have marital problems.

She brought up the reports that made an issue over her and Jason booking separate hotel rooms, explaining that they did this for one practical reason: “simply put, my husband snored.”

According to Tammie, the weekend getaway was going well until the night in question. They went dancing and stayed up late at the bar before returning to Jason’s room to talk.

Tammie said she left his room to go down to the lobby for snacks. Ten minutes later, she returned to discover Jason’s door was locked. She tried knocking and calling his name, but got no answer.

At some point, someone, either a hotel staffer or a guest, called the police. After the officers took Tammie downstairs, they got into Jason’s room and found him dead.

She closed her statement by asking people to stop spreading rumors and “making assumptions,” adding “leave my family to grieve peacefully.”
