ABC Anchor Stephanopoulos Admits Biden Can’t Serve 4 More Years

In a harsh evaluation after his recent interview with the 81-year-old president, ABC News host George Stephanopoulos declared this week that he does not think Joe Biden is physically and intellectually capable of serving another term in office.

Stephanopoulos made the comments in a video that gossip site TMZ obtained on July 9th. This comes shortly after Stephanopoulos’ interview with President Biden last Friday, during which he attempted and failed to halt party members’ discussions about urging him to withdraw from the presidential race in the wake of his dismal performance in the most recent debate against former president Trump.

Someone questioned Stephanopoulos while filming him on the sidewalk, asking if he thought Biden should resign.

Stephanopoulos said that he does not believe Biden could serve another four years.

Lots of political analysts thought that Biden’s interview with George Stephanopoulos was a total bust because he made so many blunders, such as saying that Trump had interrupted him multiple times during the debate and that every poll that put him behind in the race was incorrect.

After its top anchor publicly said that President Biden could not spend another four years in office, ABC News distanced itself from the host’s comments. According to a statement made by ABC on Tuesday night, George spoke from his own perspective, not ABC News’s.

The rapid response from ABC over the Stephanopoulos bombshell was not unprompted. Biden and Trump are set to debate for a second time on September 10th, and the Disney-owned station has already secured the debate.

Despite ABC’s best efforts, the impression that its main political anchor doubts Biden’s ability to carry out the responsibilities of president for another four years is probably hurting the network’s chances of having both candidates participate in the debate.

Stephanopoulos then issued an apology for implying that Joe Biden would have a hard time surviving a second term as president. He said that he should not have answered a passerby’s questions.
