(JustPatriots.com)- In an interview last week, former President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump said the FBI agents who conducted the raid on Mar-a-Lago refused to give Trump’s lawyer a copy of the search warrant.
Eric Trump told the UK Daily Mail that 30 agents were involved in last Monday’s search. He said the agents told attorney Christina Bobb that she had to leave the property and turn off the security cameras.
Eric alleged that Bobb was not given a copy of the search warrant. Instead, the agents only showed it to her from about ten feet away.
Christina Bobb confirmed in an interview with Real America News on Tuesday that she initially did not receive a hard copy of the warrant and was unable to determine what probable cause was used to persuade the judge to sign off on it.
Bobb said when she arrived and identified herself as Trump’s attorney, the agents refused her request to review the warrant, telling her they didn’t have to show it to her.
After she pressed the agents on whether it was appropriate to withhold a warrant to search the residence of a former president, the agents finally let her see it.
What is unclear from Bobb’s interview is if she was given a copy of the warrant at the time or only allowed to view it.
Bobb did describe the warrant as “thin.”
In an interview on “The Ingraham Angle” this week, civil rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon, along with Congressman Jim Jordan and former DNI John Ratcliffe argued that the Justice Department must make public the affidavit used to obtain the search warrant on Trump’s home.
Thus far the DOJ is refusing to release the affidavit.
What is Biden’s DOJ trying to hide? It’s a matter of public interest that everything involved in the #TrumpRaid be revealed.@Jim_Jordan, @JohnRatcliffe, and I discuss this tonight on @IngrahamAngle pic.twitter.com/QyOzlVywu4
